We are thrilled to unveil the Official Selections for the Canada International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF) 2025!
This year, we received outstanding submissions from all over the world—stories that are bold, beautiful, imaginative, and deeply resonant with children and families alike.
We celebrate these incredible films and the visionary filmmakers behind them. CICFF 2025 will take place on August 23–24, 2025, at the University of Toronto's Innis Town Hall. Congratulations to all our officially selected films!
The Canada International Children's Film Festival (CICFF) is a vibrant celebration of global cinema dedicated to young audiences and the filmmakers who inspire them. Founded by a passionate filmmaker, author, and father of two, CICFF seeks to nurture creativity in children while fostering a love for storytelling. Our annual festival showcases a diverse selection of films worldwide, from animated features to live-action shorts, all crafted to captivate and educate children and their families. Beyond screenings, CICFF offers workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, creating a platform for aspiring filmmakers and established creators to share their work. We are committed to promoting cultural understanding, empathy, and imagination through the power of film while welcoming filmmakers from all corners of the globe to participate.
